Hawaii's Longest Running aMATEUR rADIO cLUB

The Maui Amateur Radio Club was formed in 1936 and has continuously served the interests of Maui County and amateur radio since inception. Our members are  involved in a variety of diverse amateur radio activities including:
  • Emergency Communications
  • Field Day Operations
  • Contest Operations 
  • Formal and Informal Training for beginners and old timers
  • VE program with scheduled testing to certify new hams
  • Monthly Meetings
  • Special Events
Our meetings are  held every second Wednesday at the Maui County Civil Defense Emergency Operating Center in the basement of the County Building. The County building (shown in red in the map below) is located on High Street in Wailuku. Just come around the back of the building from Kaohu Street. Directions can usually be received on 147.020 (+600-no tone). Meetings start at 7:00 P.M. and usually last about 2 hours.
