March : Bob
Murdoch, KH7FX, gave a great talk on “How Can a New Amateur Get on the air for
the
First Time”. This was a chance for the newcomers to ask all
those questions about getting on the air. The talk stirred up a
great exchange that included newcomers and veterans. The question
for the March meeting was "What was (or will be) your first piece of
amateur equipment?" This question brought back many memorys to the old
timers...some good and some not so good
